The Right Stuff
Shooting weddings with older or non-professional equipment is like showing up to a construction site with only a hammer...a hammer for screws...a hammer to saw with...a hammer to use as a level. Over the past 8 years, Canon has introduced on a fairly regular basis, upgrades to both their amateur and professional lines of equipment. Keith and Paul have kept up with the upgrades over the years and have progressed from the following Canon models: D30, 1D, 1D Mark 2, 1DS, 1DS Mark 2. Today, we are using the latest available models, the Mark III models. The upgrades over the years have led to expansion of existing light photography. Remember those grainy photos you used to get and many still get? They are usually full of grain due to the lack of the sensor's ability in the digital camera to get proper exposures under extremely low or even normal low light. Many photographers offer or even push black & white photography on their clients due to their inability to get a properly exposed shot with their lessor quality equipment. Keith and Paul will never do this! Some photos do lend themselves to a great black & white print, but only if YOU choose them that way. Our current equipment can shoot with the light of a candle! For those interested, below is a list of what we are currently using: CAMERAS Canon EOS 1D Mark III (10.2 Million Pixels, Digic 3 Processor) CANON PROFESSIONAL LENSES 15mm 2.8L OUR LAB OF CHOICE HH Color Lab, Nationally Known, Located in the KC Area CUSTOM FINE ART PRINTS UP TO 17" X 22" Epson Stylus Pro 3800, Using UltraChrome K3 Inks PORTABLE LIGHTING PROFOTO Professional Monolights PROCESSING (1) MAC Pro Dual-Core, 2.4ghz, 8 Gigabytes Ram
